In 2006 and 2007, Sara was selected to take part in the British Crafts mission to Japan, organised by Arts Council England, UK Trade & Investement and Design Factory. The aim of the trips was to support designers to explore the opportunities for commercial success in the Japanese market and to gain a better understanding of the business and creative culture of Japan. Activities such as a 'Meet the Buyer' event, retail tours, design studio visits and business meetings were organised with agents and buyers for the Japanese market. |
